What You Will Find at the Park

Three-Mile Nature Trail

Hike beneath virgin white pines, past dramatic rock outcroppings, and through mixed hardwood stands. Great for family nature observation, bird watching, and gentle exploration.

Black Lake Shoreline

Sand and cobblestone beaches with unique large rock outcroppings. Black Lake is celebrated for its clear waters, scenic sunsets, lake sturgeon, walleye, and muskie fishing. Learn about the famous Black Lake sturgeon season.

Solitude Among Virgin Pines
